Síndrome del corazón roto en la nueva realidad pos-COVID-19

Resumen

Se lleva a cabo una revisión bibliográfica de los artículos científicos donde se relacionan la COVID-19 y la cardiopatía de takotsubo (CT). Se encontraron 69 artículos, donde se puede observar una intensa discusión acerca de si la CT se manifiesta por el miedo a contraer la enfermedad, por el estrés asociado al encierro o si es una afectación directa al miocardio. Dado que este síndrome es poco estudiado, es necesario diferenciar la CT de otras afectaciones cardiacas como el síndrome coronario agudo, la enfermedad de las arterias coronarios o la miocarditis. Diversos estudios describieron patologías extrapulmonares durante la pandemia por COVID-19, algunas de ellas mencionaban la aparición de CT, que es un síndrome clínico relacionado a factores estresantes.
